As a recurrent theme in the history of art, the self portrait is an inevitable topic in artists’ books. During the furore of the artistic developments of the 1960s, when the artist left his atelier in order to invest in a wide array of locales and artistic forms, the self portrait moved away from the traditional form of self-representation of the artist.
