LUCIA NOGUEIRA

Lucia Nogueira (Goiana, Brazil, 1950) was a Brazilian artist who died prematurely in 1998. She developed her career in London from the 1980s onwards and is best known for her installations, exhibited in such distinguished locations as the Ikon Gallery and Camden Arts Centre. This exhibition - the first retrospective of her work - aims to provide an overview of her sculptures and installations, together with her drawings, that represent a less well-known but significant and distinctive part of her work.
